Hi, I’m Tina

The face behind the camera at Capture 24 Photography.

I’m really good at capturing the essence of people, businesses, events, space and products.

”I’ve been in the creative industry for most of my life from studying graphic design at college and uni to working as a graphic designer creating brands for small businesses to working in house in a huge corporation.

That’s years of experience in design, marketing and comms plus other things like supply chain, account management, managing a team, preparing for ISO9001 (that’s one experience I don’t want to repeat) and bringing projects to live with next to no budget.

Because of this, I look at your photography from all angles:

  • If you’re a small business, I love to support you with what kinds of images you need and guide you in how you can use them, help you to understand what you need to engage with your ideal client. I also like to source locations for your shoots that fit your brand and help you with what to wear if needed.

  • If you are a large corporation, I take time to understand your brief and what your trying to communicate and who so I can get you the best bank of images for your money that will last you a good while.

The most important thing I do on every shoot is I take my time to look at the project or product you have created but mostly with the people I am photographing. I get to know your staff, I listen to their journey and I don’t rush them and this makes them feel at ease in front of the camera as we all know that’s one of the biggest challenges.

Either you yourself have been putting off your photography or your staff have been complaining they don’t want to be in the photos, but trust me they will enjoy it with me and will be very pleased with the results. I have many a testimonial that said I put people at ease and was super patient. I get told this all the time at work yet with my kids I don’t seem to have much of that at all. Ha!

Being a graphic designer and having a very awkward brand to design for towards the end of the Carillions journey, I was constantly frustrated with three things:

  • Spending hours scrolling through stock photography that was too cheesy or obviously staged.
  • Using the same brand images over and over for years as we did have brand photos we loved but hadn’t invested in any new ones.
  • The photos were never at the right crop to fit the design. We always had to design with the golden ratio and it was an awkward a shape to fit photos into, meaning closely cropped was no good; we needed more room around the photo to be able to fit in the design.

And my favourite part is seeing all the photos in use, I love it when they pop up on LinkedIn or even better they are in print in a magazine or paper, or maybe your an author and you profile pic is in your book. There are so many ways you can use your photos when you have them and people always surprise me with new ideas. The latest was they had their photos printed on Cadbury bars. Who knew you could even do that.

If your looking for that little bit more in your photographer that knows all the struggles you have, I would love to talk to you and share with you how photography can elevate your brand, connect you with your ideal clients and make you more money for the passion that you have which is your business.
